How to join

Both worlds use the same address. Only the port is different.

Modded world (port 7777)

  1. In Steam, get tModLoader from the store. It's free if you own Terraria on Steam.
  2. Open tModLoader and choose Multiplayer, then Join via IP.
  3. Pick a character, type terraria.camtheyam.com and port 7777.
  4. Type the password: ilovemax. tModLoader will offer to download the mods the server uses; say yes and it reloads.

Vanilla world (port 7778)

  1. Open Terraria and choose Multiplayer, then Join via IP.
  2. Pick a character, type terraria.camtheyam.com and port 7778.
  3. Type the password: ilovemax

On a phone or tablet: Multiplayer, then Online, tap + to add a server, and use the same address, port and password.

Mods on the modded world

You don't need to install these yourself. tModLoader fetches them when you join.

  • Big content: Thorium, Spirit Reforged, Secrets of the Shadows, Homeward Journey, Consolaria
  • Helpers: Magic Storage, Recipe Browser, Boss Checklist, Census, Quality of Terraria, Fargo's Mutant Mod, Ore Excavator, Wing Slot Extra
  • Extras: Spirit Music, plus the libraries these need

Good to know

  • Your game has to be on the same version as the server. If it won't connect, update Terraria or tModLoader. The server's version shows at the top of each world while it's open.
  • Phones and tablets can join the vanilla world if their Terraria is on the same version as the server. The modded world is PC only. Xbox, PlayStation and Switch can't join either one.
  • If a door's window is dark, that world is closed. Anyone can press its Start button to wake it up. It switches itself off after a day with nobody on.
  • The status can take a few minutes to catch up after a server starts or stops.
